Thoughts of you...



 
 
I am still trying to master the CAS style of card designs after years of throwing everything onto my cards. 

Here is another one that I think has too much on it, mainly the flower lace, but it needed something there.  I made my navy layer shape by cutting around the coaster on my desk which was a teapot stand once.  It was just the right size.  I used a very old stamp for the sentiment and inked around the edges of my mat with the ink pad.  The die cut butterfly was cut years ago using a friends die which I inked over to make it the right colour.  I then glued it to parchment and embossed it.  Having attached it I added the gems.
