Mum To Be...

Here is a card for a mum to be featuring this gorgeous stamp from Magnolia which I have coloured with promarkers.  I have placed a lace doily behind my image and washi tape in the bottom corner.  The fussy cut flower is from Bearly Mine (no longer available).  A few pearls and an organza bow finish it off.

Challenges

A Cut Above The Rest

Challenges

Charisma Crafts (39) - Decoupage
Daring Cardmakers - Folding Up
Secret Crafter (52) - Celebration

This is a card I was asked to make for someone who is celebrating her 40th birthday. As you can see I have made an 'offset' gatefold card featuring a decoupage image of a hairdresser, can't remember where the image came from, sorry. I added a couple of dragonfly brads as 'wall decoration' as dragonflies were also requested.

Sleeping Santa

Challenges

Papertake - Sketch

Funky Fairys (29) - Christmas

Dutch Dare (58) - Christmas In August

Our Creative Corner - Christmas In August

Winter Wonderland (12) - Home For The holidays

Well I never, another christmas card! At this rate I might get ahead this year, doubt it though. Following the sketch I covered the dark green base card with a xmas tree paper. Then came the two rectangles of stars and text and another strip of tree paper down the middle. I decoupaged the cute image of Santa sleeping and backed it with the dark green card and attached with foam pads. I did the same with the greeting. I finished the card by adding the prima flowers with brad centres. Hope you like it.

Paperplay (22) - Christmas in June

I can't believe I have just made my first Christmas card this year, and in June!!! To top it all, I have chosen to make it in very unconventional colours! Not much to say about this one except - I like it! Nearly forgot, Harry has been decoupaged, isn't he gorgeous, love the look on his face.

Four Challenges With One Card

Challenges

Sketch & Stash (5) - Sketch (New Image & Papers)
Paperplay (8) - 3 Rectangles & Sparkly
Funky Fairys (6) - Blue
Cute Card Thursday (50) - Food & Drink

As you can see I have kept this card very simple as I wanted the cupcakes to really show up. Following the sketch from the Sketch & Stash challenge I covered two rectangles of card with my new papers, having put an eyelet in a corner of each piece, I attached them to the base card after tying the ribbon around them. I coloured the image with my pencils and added glitter glue to the frosting on the cakes. I then layered it onto a rectangle of silver pearl card. I stamped the sentiment and layered this in the same way and attached them to the card with foam pads.
