I covered my base card with silver mirri card and added some embossed panels that I inked with distress ink.  I then added two layers of ribbon up the centre (you can just about see them), and then added a bow.  Next I added some handmade ribbon flowers and punched leaves.  A few pearl gems finish the card.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Whoo Hoo!!!  Time for the first challenge at Crafty Little Fairies and to mark the occasion some of Team B (Pink Fairies) are joining Team A (Blue Fairies) this week to give you lots of inspiration.

We're kicking off with the theme 'Cute And Cuddly Critters', so nice and easy.  Don't forget that you can now use any make of stamp or digi to enter the challenge, so why not join in the fun!
Check out our new look blog too!  The address remains the same for now, but we will let you know when it changes.

We are being sponsored by Crafty Ribbons and The Ribbon Girls this week.

OK, on to my card.  As you can see I have made a Christmas card using one of the mini masterpiece sheets which comes pre-coloured.  Good job, as I can't colour animals at all.  Having cut and layered my image I added flock, glitter and liquid pearls to it for added interest.  The base card has been simply layered and a punched border topped with spotty ribbon added.  The snowflakes have been die-cut and have pearl centres.  A stamped sentiment finishes the card.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

ABC - Anything Goes
Lothian Crafts - Anything Goes/Dies

Time for a new challenge at Whoopsi Daisy and this week we would like to see you 'Use Texture' on your creations.
When I saw this little cutie I knew she would look great on a Christmas card, so I have made one.  Mind you, looking at it again, I think this card could also be used for a winter birthday - two for the price of one!

I started by adding an embossed and lightly inked panel to my base card.  Next I coloured my image with promarkers and die-cut it.  While it was still in the die I inked around the image.  I then added a bit of glitter before attaching with foam pads.  I did the same with the stamped sentiment.  The holly and snowflake has been die-cut from glittery handmade paper and gems added.  A ribbon and ribbon slider charm finishes the card.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Just lately I have been playing with some decoupage so thought I would show you what I have been doing with a pad that was a freebie in a magazine a while ago.

Following the great sketch I layered my base card and added a simple border with a die-cut fence on top.  I then decoupaged my image and stuck it onto another piece of card.  I then added some tiny butterflies (the waste from a die).  After adding a punched butterfly I used some stickles for their bodies.  A stamped sentiment finishes the card.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

 Now for some exciting news!!!

Times change, and we Fairies are changing with them. This will be the last ever challenge as Lili's Little Fairies. No, please, don't be too sad, read on.

We have had a blast as LLF but it is time for a new start and from next week (5 September), we are becoming 'Crafty Little Fairies', a new look and a new address.

Something else new and, we think, very exciting - we are opening the challenge up to use images other than LOTV.  So, you can still use your Lili's and we would love to see them, but you can also use other images too.  How cool is that?  I am sure the Fairies will continue to share their love of Lili with you all but this does mean more of you will be able to join in the challenges with us.

So, we hope you are as excited about all this as we are - see you next week for the first ever Crafty Little Fairies Challenge!

Time for a new challenge at Whoopsi Daisy and this week the theme is 'Use More Than One Image'.

This week I have made a wedding card with a bit of a scene going on using some of my favourite images.  I started by embossing my base card.  Next I printed out my images (I have flipped two of them) and coloured them with promarkers.  I then cut them out using one of my new dies.  Before taking them out of the die I distressed them with chalk.  Once attached I cut out the other image and attached with foam pads.  I then cut a couple of flourishes and added some gorgeous flowers.  Finally, I stamped a little sentiment and and attached it to a die-cut banner.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.
