Pink Birthday

I have used a lovely Magnolia stamp for this card and I have coloured her with promarkers and paper pieced her dress.  The corners have been punched and pearls added.  I'm not sure where the printed sentiment came from as it is soo old.  I think it was a freebie, but who knows...

Princess Tilda

I started this card by matting and layering my base card with soft mint green cardstock and old design paper from Papermania.  I then added a die cut strip with a piece of ribbon attached.  Next came a die cut doily which I heat embossed using a Brilliance ink pad and holographic embossing powder.  I stamped my lovely image and coloured her with promarkers and a bit of glitter glue.  After die cutting her with an oval stitched die I attached her with foam pads.  Finally, I found a heart shaped button and changed the colour by brushing with alchohol ink.  A bit of recycled ribbon through the button and the card is finished.

Shine A LIght...

I've gone a bit mad with silver on this card, using silver mirri card and silver metallic ribbons.  The image has been coloured with promarkers.  The doily and flower have been die cut with gems added and a LOTV sentiment.

Birthday

The colours used on this card were a bit of a challenge to me as I don't normally use any of them a great deal.  I think it turned out ok though although I have just noticed I stamped the sentiment in the wrong place on the sketch (artistic license???).  I have coloured my Magnolia fairy with promarkers and added glitter glue to her wings.  I also fussy cut her so she looks as if she is sat on the orange ribbon.

Gift From Heaven Tilda

Today I had a little play with one of the Magnolia stamps I recently won.  I coloured her with promarkers and die cut her out with label dies.  The background papers are from Nitwits and I have made a panel that I used a border punch to cut the edges.  I topped this with gorgeous lace (very sparingly as it is one I don't like to cut into).  I then added a die cut flower with resin sentiment and three large gems.

Gift Bag

This time I have decorated a gift bag.

My stamped Tilda from Magnolia has been coloured with promarkers and I paper pieced her dress and hair bow.  My papers are from my scrap box.  The sparkly border strip was made by attaching d/s tape to the edges and adding glitter.  I then attached some sparkly ric rac ribbon.  A sparkly die cut doily was placed behind Tilda who was also cut out and layered with die cuts.  At the bottom I placed a message envelope and some gem hearts.  Last but not least, I tied a lace bow to the handle.

Edwin In Miami

Just recently I was lucky enough to win some Magnolia stamps and this is one of them.  I have coloured him with promarkers.  I have layered up my base card using cardstock and a paper which I love from Poundland.  The beach image is an old one I found in my scrapbox.  The stamped sentiment is a magazine freebie and the shell/starfish buttons are from my stash.

Summer Gardening...

I was having a root around in my scrap paper box this morning and came across these papers so decided to make a card with them.  I can't remember where they came from as they are about 10 years old.

I have coloured Tilda with promarkers and paper pieced her dress.  I then doodled some pencil lines to give her some movement. To get her to look as if she was holding the trowel I cut slits and threaded the trowel through.  The trowel was part of an old sticker set.  The watering can has been die cut from silver mirri card.  The fabric flowers are from my stash and I have added some large pearls to the centres.

My card stopper panel has been layered with card and more paper.  I added some ribbon threaded lace to the top.  Finally I attached a sentiment which says "To a lovely grandmother on your special day".

Summer Scene

I don't normally cut apertures into the front of my cards but this time I did.  First I covered my base card with this lovely floral paper from The Works and then cut an aperture which I framed.  I set my little house scene behind it.  On the front I added a die cut bench and placed Tilda on it.  I also added a die cut tree made from sparkly paper.  I made the sun by using a cornflower die and placing a circle on top.  The sentiment is an old one that was lying around.  All my colouring has been done with promarkers.  The scene and Tilda are from Magnolia.

Christmas Morning Tilda

I had quite a bit of fun making this Christmas card, cutting out the image and finding lots of L's to incorporate into it.

My Magnolia image has been coloured with promarkers before die cutting with one of my favourite dies.  Trouble was, I couldn't see through the die to position it...  I then had a light bulb moment which surprised me I can tell you.  I first die cut a piece of parchment paper and layed it over my image.  Once I was satisfied, I attached the die with a small bit of tape and slid the parchment out before cutting.  Worked a treat!!!  I layered up the background using a Nitwits paper and a panel of card which I had applied some ribbon threaded lace to, adding a bow.  Finally I attached some die cut lattice corners.  Job done!!!

Elf Tilda

Her is a little sparkly number using one of my favourite Magnolia stamps which I coloured with promarkers before fussy cutting and attaching with foam tape.  My blue base card was covered with sparkly cardstock and to this I added a bit of floral paper from my scrapbox.  I then added some strips of sparkly washi tape.  To finish I punched a butterfly from more sparkly cardstock and then added a layered flower with a brad centre.

Tag Card

This is the last card for a week as I am off to start renovating my son's new home.  It is a complete renovation job, knocking walls down, stripping, wiring...  Just about everything as the place hasn't been touched since the 60's!!!

Anyway, onto my card which features a Magnolia stamp which I have coloured with promarkers.  I made her into a tag by cutting the corners and adding an eyelet and piece of recycled ribbon.  The background paper is from Nitwits and the sentiment from my stash, as is the flowers.  The flowers in the centres are in fact lace daisies.

Jump!

Sorry about the photo, it was quite difficult to take with all that acetate and this was the best one out of a bad bunch.

Well, I have made a shaker card this time and filled it with multicoloured sequins.  I started by covering the front of my card with gingham paper (magazine freebie) and adding card candi to the corners and finishing with a little bow.  The stamped Magnolia image has been coloured with promarkers and chalk.  The sentiment stamp is also a magazine freebie.

Gift Set

Something a bit different from me today.  I have made a little gift set for my sister's birthday comprising of a Tea Light Candle card and a Tote of bathing goodies so that she cam pamper herself.  This is the first time I have made either of these and I'm quite pleased at how they have turned out.  I shall certainly be making a few more I think as they were so easy.

Card

I found the template/tutorial on Lena Katrine's blog.  As you can see, each of the panels have been matted & layered using the offcuts from the Tote.  I then added an embossed strip of roses to all the panels.  The folder being another magazine freebie.  To the front panel I added a magnolia image which I coloured with promarkers and fussy cut before attaching with foam pads. I finished this panel with some red roses.  A bit of ribbon to hold the tea lights in finishes off the card.

Tote

First off I printed some card with a couple of Nitwits papers (printing both sides of the base paper.  I then overprinted the templates from My Life Made Easy, which I won a couple of years ago.  Once this was done I cut all the pieces out, layered the panels with the contrast card and assembled it.  There are a couple of large eyelets at each end of the handle purely for decoration.  To the front I added a die cut tree and bench and then sat another Magnolia image (coloured with promarkers) onto the bench.  A few red roses and a charm attached with a brad completes the front panel.  Last but not least, a lovely ribbon tied around the handle finishes the Tote.
