Bicycle

Challenges

Simon Says - Move It
Allsorts (70) - 3 Punches

When I was asked recently to make a card for a lady featuring a bicycle and flowers I panicked a bit as I didn't think I had anything with bicycles. Well, in the deepest, darkest, depths of my stash I found this PSX sticker which fit the criteria beautifully. I enhanced it with flowersoft to give it a bit of texture. All the embellishments have been punched using 4 different punches. I have since been told that the recipient has it in pride of place and loves it. Hope you like it as well, thanks for looking.

Table Centrepiece

Challenges

A Spoonful Of Sugar (87) - Lots of layering
Creative Card Crew (43) - Punch It
ABC - L is for Layering

I made this decoration at our club just before Christmas and thought you might like to see it. I think it fits the above challenges as well.

First I cut two circles from card and then cut out another circle from the middle of each. I then stamped and cut out over 100 leaves (never again!!!) using a Brilliance 'Twighlight' inkpad. These were then attached with staples to one of the card rings making sure they are layered to cover all the ring. Next punch or die-cut the poinsettias from pearl card, layer, attach with foam pads and add a gem to the centres. Next I added some silver ribbon bows. Finally, stick the two circles together with foam pads so that the staples are hidden. I then glued my wreath to a plastic plate so I could move it around more easily. To finish it off I placed a small plant pot holder in the middle and put a candle inside (SAFETY FIRST: DO NOT light the candle unless it is inside a heatproof container first).

Bicycle

Challenges

A Spoonful Of Sugar (65) - Travel

The Pink Elephant (29) - Sketch

For this very simple card I first layered some card strips, added ribbon and placed along the bottom. I then applied a silver rub-on greeting. Next I put the PSX bicycle sticker onto white card and cut around it before attaching with foam pads. To finish I added three coordinating buttons. Easy peasy!

Something Sweet...

Challenges

Charisma Cardz (32) - Sketch

Cupcake Crafts (53) - Something Sweet (Cupcakes)

After a couple of dark cards I thought it was time for something lighter so came up with this one.

Following the lovely sketch I applied the various papers to the base card. I then cut out several of the cupcakes and decoupaged them onto a couple of mats cut on the cuttlebug using nesties, adding sparkle with glitter glue to the sweeties. I added a stamped sentiment and finally some star brads in each corner. Hope you like it.
