Sitting Pretty

Here is Candy Pip sitting pretty on her die cut bench.  She is an old stamp from Sugar Nellie (no longer) and I have coloured her with promarkers and attached her with foam pads.  The stamped sentiment is from LOTV and the design paper from Nitwits.  The die cut border is a magazine freebie and I have added some gems to it.  The little paper flowers are from my stash with gems also added.

Santa Door Hanger

I had a go at making a door hanger using an old Sugar Nellie stamp which I coloured with promarkers and added a sentiment.  The aperture is die cut and framed.  A nice red satin bow to finish.  Please note that Santa is carrying his gifts in his sack, but only for good little boys and girls...

This little beauty is called Faith and she was from Sugar Nellie and I have coloured her with promarkers.  The papers are from Nitwits and I have let the stripey one do the job of the stripes behind the image on the sketch.  The sentiment is from Hunkydory and the fabric flowers and pearl brad are from my stash.

A vintage look easel card this time featuring a Sugar Nellie digi stamp which I have coloured with promarkers.  I distressed and inked the edge of the image before layering it with die cuts.  The translucent one is parchment paper.  These gorgeous papers are from Dovecraft and the sentiment stamp from Hobby Art.The leaves are punched and the foam roses from my stash along with the ribbon bow which I topped with an old button.  If you look closely you will see that not only is one of the papers stripey but it has dots on it too.  Two for the price of one!!!

Honey Pip

Here is a thank you card featuring a stamp from Sugar Nellie which I have coloured with promarkers.  The backing paper is from Poundland and was my 'bargain of the year' along with three others, all with very gorgeous designs.  The ribbon across the middle was from my stash as was the flowers and brads.  The leaves are punched and the sentiment is from Hero Arts.

Dreaming of your summer holidays?  I think this girl is...

My background is a photo I took while at Loch Lomond which I printed onto matte card and attached to my navy base card.  I then coloured my Sugar Nellie image stamp with promarkers, fussy cut it and attached with foam pads.  The stamped sentiment is from Stampin Up.

Another Christmas card!  This easel card will be for one of my granddaughters.

This gorgeous stamp is from Sugar Nellie and has been coloured with promarkers.  I then added crystal glaze and stickles.  The snowflakes have been die cut from sparkly card and I have added gems to the centres.  The background papers are magazine freebies.  The border panel has been covered with a contrasting paper and I have added deep red ribbon before attaching a chipboard sentiment.  The clothing parts of this chipboard sentiment are raised to add texture and there are tiny gems and sparkle on it too.

Snow Buddies For Little Girls

Here is a little set of Christmas cards suitable for young girls.  The background has been embossed with a Swiss Dots folder.  The gorgeous stamped images have been coloured with promarkers .  I then added crystal glaze and flock for texture.  A few card candis finishes the cards off.

Another quick card from me today as I wanted to use up the last bit of magazine freebie paper from the other cards I made a few days ago.

 

This one features another Elisabeth Bell image and is coloured with pencils.  I used a border punch and ribbon on the borders and made a small bow with the rest of the ribbon.

Cherished Friends

Today I have made another Christmas card using one of my favourite Sugar Nellie stamps which I coloured lightly with promarkers.  I also distressed and glittered the edge of the main image before die cutting it.  The sentiment is a Crafters Companion stamp which I have also die cut and added heart gems to.  I coloured the lace doily with a Brilliance ink pad.  The backing paper was a freebie.

I have decided to make the most of all my magazine freebies by using them as much as possible instead of ignoring them.

You might notice that my picture has improved a lot.  Yay!!!  I finally got my new printer!  This means I can ditch the camera and go back to scanning my cards.

Sneakin' Back In...

Hi there!  I can't believe that it is just over 2 years since I last posted anything....  It would have been sooner if Mr Mojo had not up and left the universe. 

 

You might notice a few changes to my sidebar as a lot of things have happened within the family etc.  The most important of course is that now I am a fully fledged grandmother to Billy and step-grandmother to Megan and Maryam.  There is even another on its way!  How lucky am I?

 

Anyway, onto my card....

 

As you can see it is for Billy's 2nd birthday on the 3rd March.  I used a new die from Presscut to cut the actual card out (talk about lazy).  The stamp was from Sugar Nellie but is no longer available and I coloured it with my promarkers.  The papers are from a "Me To You" pad.  All the buttons, pearls, stickers and greeting was from my stash.

Here is a simple set of Christmas cards I have made in my favourite pastel colours.  I simply covered my base card with an embossed panel before attaching the image with foam pads.  The images have been coloured with promarkers and either flock or glitter.  With hindsight, I think maybe I should have added a bit of faux stitching around the images, what do you think?  Hope you like them, thanks for looking.

I'm a little snowman round and fat,

I have coloured my image with promarkers and added some flock and crystal glaze before layering it with nesties and a doily.  The borders has been punched and I have added paper and sparkly ribbon.  The stamped sentiment has also been layered with nesties and attached with foam pads.  The snowflakes have been die-cut with brad centres.  A few gems finishes the card.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Today I have been playing with a couple of new things and made this card.  I followed this week's sketch but turned it first before attaching this gorgeous paper to the bottom of the card and then adding the sky.  I made the sky by using my new embossing cloud folder with core-dinations card and sanding it.  This is the first time I have done this and really like the soft effect it gives the clouds.  I then added a die-cut picket fence.  Next I punched a photo corner and added it to the bottom corner and decorated it with flower gems.  The next job was to add some glitter glue to the floral paper for a bit of added sparkle.  I coloured my new image with promarkers, cut her out and attached her with foam pads.  Finally I added some butterflies which were die-cut from metallic, sparkly card.  I added some glitter glue to them as well.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Today I have a male themed birthday card to show you.  Following the great sketch I layered my base card with various panels cut with nesties.  I embossed the plain panel with one of my new embossing folders using coredinations cardstock and then sanded it to give a slight distressed look.  The image has been coloured with promarkers and I have added crystal glaze here and there.  The helmet has been stamped, coloured and covered in crystal glaze.  Having layered the sentiment I attached a small piece of ribbon to it before attaching it with foam pads.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Today I have had a little play with one of my new stamps and new digi papers.  Following the great sketch I layered my base card with paper covered panels adding punched photo corners.  I just love the sunshiny colours of these gorgeous papers.  I coloured my image with promarkers adding faux stitching around the edge.  I then added crystal glaze to the jar and bee's wings.  The sentiment has been stamped and more faux stitching added.  The leaves are die cut with a Marianne die and I have added paper flowers.  A few pearls here and there finishes the card.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Following the great sketch I have layered up today's card with some of my favourite papers which I've not used for quite a while.  I coloured the gorgeous image with promarkers and chalk.  I have also added chalk to the sentiment.  Once I had layered and attached the image I added a few heart gems to the frame.  I then die-cut some leaves and added punched paper flowers topped with roses.  The butterfly has been punched and I added more gems to that and the sentiment.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Today I have made an Autumn inspired card.  I love walking in the New Forest in the Autumn so I thought this lovely image was ideally suited to the theme.  As usual she has been coloured with promarkers and a bit of chalk.  Having turned the great sketch I layered the card up accordingly using some gorgeous digi papers and some handmade paper for the green circle before attaching the image with foam pads.  The leaves have been die-cut whilst the butterflies have been punched.  I have added glitter glue to the butterflies and the paper flowers.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Today I have made an easel card following the great sketch.  I have coloured the image with promarkers and added glitter to her wings.  The strip on the base of the card has been punched to match the one on the front of the card but this time I added some white glittery ribbon topped with some deep purple satin ribbon (although it looks quite black in the photo).  Some feathers and bling finishes the card off.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.
