It's a long time since I inked up this stamp which is quite suprising as it is one of my many favourites.  Anyway, I have coloured her with promarkers and chalk and added glitter to her wings.  Following the great sketch I layered up my card with these gorgeous yellow and green digi papers.  A bit of a shame that some are almost hidden.  I did think that the plain white card looked a bit lost so I inked the edges with rose pink to highlight them a bit.  To the side of the image I have added a die-cut leaf, also inked, and a layered paper flower.  A few yellow card candis finishes the card.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

For this card I followed the great sketch and started by covering the base card with this gorgeous paper from 'Fairytale Dreams' at Nitwit Collections. I then stamped some bunting directly onto the paper, coloured it with promarkers and added some 'glitter balls' made from die-cut snowflakes and pearls. The main image has been coloured with promarkers, pencils and glitter. I have also added diamond glaze to the glass, shoe, necklace and eyes. The sentiment has been stamped and layered using a nestie. To finish I added a silver metal fan and added a pearl. Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

For my Christmas card I have used one of my favourite WOJ stamps 'Confirmed Melinda', in fact, she was the first WOJ stamp I bought. I think she lends herself very well to a Christmas card, don't you. I have coloured her with promarkers and glittered her wings. All the flowers and leaves have been punched and I have added pink pearls to the flower centres. Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

This is an odd colour combo for me (pink & yellow), don't know where that sprang from. I coloured the image with promarkers and chalk, layered it and tied a ribbon around it before adding a few pearls to the corner. The pink strip at the bottom has been punched with a bit of lace added. The heart, leaves, and butterflies have also been punched. Under the roses are some punched flowers which I coloured lightly and embossed. Well, that's it, hope you like it, thanks for looking.

I coloured this image with promarkers a couple of weeks ago and didn't get around to using it until now. I just love the way the aqua, pink and white go together don't you? Having coloured the image I then distressed and glittered the edges and added glitter to the 'rain'. I also distressed and glittered the pink layer behind the image. The circular sentiment stamp is one of the new LOTV 'Additions' stamps available here. These are great as you can add different words in the centres for different occassions. The ribbon slider has been made using a punch I bought years ago and was sadly neglected at the back of a drawer. I hope you like this one, thanks for looking.

Sorry for the late posting again, still not enough energy to stay awake long. Anyway, enough of that. Here is my card for the Creative Inspiration Challenge where this time we want to see all your wonderful Easter projects. The rest of the DT have made some gorgeous cards and projects so don't forget to pop along to their blogs to see them.

Whenever I think of Easter I not only think of all those lovely chocolate eggs but I also think of Easter Bonnets which is why I have used this lovely image on my card. I have coloured the image with Promarkers and tried to give it a slightly vintagy look.

The sentiment stamp is one of the new LOTV Additions stamps that are being released at LOTV on Thursday 14th April (not long now). These are great as you can alter the middle bit with various other words to make different messages, how cool is that?

What a great sketch to follow and I shall definately be using it again. I started by covering my base card with this gorgeous swirly paper and placing some pearls in the corners. Next I punched a strip of card for a lace effect and attached with d/s tape. Having stamped and coloured the image I layered it with Nesties. I then paper pieced her clothes and glittered her wings. I replaced the strip at the side of the sketch with a die cut scroll and added gem (diamonds) flowers. If you look closely you will see that I have pooped a little pearl seed bead into the centres of the gem flowers. A few more pearls added to the image finishes the card. I now think I should have left these last few pearls off, what do you think? Thanks for looking.

Although I followed a sketch for this card it was for last week's WOJ challenge but I missed the deadline, however, as luck would have it, it fits this week's challenge. I stamped the image with a grey inkpad for a softer look and then coloured her with Promarkers and glamour dust. The poinsettias are die cut and the leaves punched. A bit of sparkly ribbon and a sentiment finishes it off. Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Not A Challenge In Sight!!!

At our craft club meeting this week two of us designed a card for everyone to make and this is the one I came up with. The base card has been covered with design paper with another panel on top. We stamped Melinda twice and coloured one of the images with Promarkers and Glamour Dust before cutting out. We then 3D'd this onto the other image after cutting it out with an oval Nestie. It was then layered again using a scalloped oval Nestie. The leaves have been punched out. The flowers were stamped, hand cut and layered before adding stickles. Here's a little card following the great sketch and using the fabulous 'Confirmed Melinda' stamp from WOJ. I have coloured her with Promarkers and added glitter to her wings. The flowers are stamped and then cut out with added pearls. I didn't have the right colour lace so I coloured it with a Promarker pen before tying it into a bow. If you can't remember the song that inspired this card here are the first few words -

She walks like an angel walks,
She talks like an angel talks,
And her hair has a kind of curl,
To my mind, she’s my kind of girl.

I have coloured my image with pencils as usual but have also gone over the pattern on her dress with a Sakura Stardust pen to add sparkle. This has then been layered onto glittery handmade paper using my Nesties. I have layered the sentiments in the same way. The strips behind the image is white satin ribbon with sparkly ric rac ribbon on top. I have made the flowers simply by using a large white paper flower and adding a punched pink sparkly flower tooped with a paper rose. The ones at the bottom have added recycled white leaves. The butterfly has also been punched from the pink sparkly paper with pearls added. The metal charm word 'celebrate' is a magazine freebie I have had for about 4 years and never used along with 3 other words. Maybe now that I have finally opened them I might actually put them onto something, who knows?

My childhood memory is of my father keeping budgies in an avery when I was small. Following the great sketch and using the colour combo, my other colour being brown, I covered the card with design paper. The other layers are just plain cardstock with one piece stamped with swirls. The image has been coloured with pencils and chalk and layered onto the same design paper. My one embellishment is a button.

Well, this was going to be a gatefold card. Having cut and folded the card, cut the backing card and punched the borders, when I placed the image over the top you couldn't see the punched borders for toffees!!! So, I had to start all over again. Never mind, the original card will just have to have another image put on it sometime.

I was dying to play with these new stamps I found at the Make It show at Farnborough last week, I have wanted them for a long time and nearly missed them as I spotted them five minutes before leaving the show, talk about lucky! I also got some cosmic shimmers from the fabulous Glitter Girls who were kind enough to show me how to use them. I have used these to colour the dress and some glitter glue on the veil. The rest of the image has been coloured with my pencils. The cardstock is all pearl card except the bits that were stamped on. I finished the card off with a few flowers, punched leaves and a few pearly bits and pieces. Hope you like it.

Following the lovely sketch I covered the base card with paper, then added a strip of card and paper to the bottom of the card, including a punched flower with brad centre. Next I embossed a piece of white card using the cuttlebug and rounded the corners. The image was coloured with MLP and Sakura Stardust pens then layered using Nesties. The greeting was also layered using Nesties. Finally, I punched a tag and added paper, flowers, button, brad, eyelet & ribbon. The little dragonfly brad goes through one of the holes in the button, hadn't thought of doing that before...
