Anniversary

This is made using a floral die cut that I made a mistake with and it has been on my desk since so I thought I would try and make use of it.

My base card is kraft card and I added a pearl white mat.  I then adhered the die cut to gold mirri card and when dry fussy cut it.  The mistake I made before ensured that now I had adhesive on the top side of the die cut so I added green glitter to it.  A sentiment from Hunkydory finishes it off.

I am not too sure about this card but I suppose someone might like it...

 

I have used the Mackintosh inspired freebie stamps again.  I used this one as the flowers are repeated.  I have heat embossed the image and sentiment.  Using a promarker I coloured the image.  Once I had distressed and inked the edges of my panel I attached it to the base card.

Happy 10th Birthday Bugaboo!

 

I first came across Bugaboo digital stamps in September 2010 when they were sponsors for a challenge I was a DT member of.  I instantly fell in love with the designs and they have become a firm favourite over the years.

 

I started my card by adding a Nitwit paper border and then repeated it on the opposite side.  Having coloured my digi with promarkers I added some crystal glaze and glitter glue.  I then used a new die set to cut the balloons and the sentiment.  I added crystal glaze to the balloons and used a promarker to highlight the banner.

A birthday card this time using this little cutie from LOTV which I coloured with promarkers.  The background mat has been embossed with a folder.  Before attaching the image with foam pads I placed a die cut branch behind.  I then attached a die cut fence which I coloured with distress ink and finally a Hunkydory sentiment.

Pimp My Sled!

A quick and easy xmas card today.  First I covered my base card with gold mirri card which I embossed with a folder.  Having coloured my digi with promarkers I simply die cut it and the sentiment, attached to die cut mats and then simply attached to the base card with foam pads.  Simples!!!

Mackintosh

 

 

I have always loved the Art Deco/Nouveau designs of the period and was lucky enough to visit Glasgow in Scotland a few years ago and see the work of Charles Rennie Mackintosh whose designs have inspired this card.

 

For my card I have used stamps free from a magazine along with design paper that was free from another magazine.  I coloured the roses with a Marvy Le Plume pen.  The butterfly was punched and coloured using a Memento ink pad and a few pearls added.

Snowman

Here is my favourite Penny Black snowman again!  I have coloured him with promarkers and added glitter glue.  The background has been embossed and I have gone over it with ink.  A scrap of recycled ribbon goes across the middle.

New Home

I have a nephew who is moving to a new home soon and it is relatively close to the local airport, hence the aeroplane.

All the stamps used are magazine freebies.  I have used chalks to colour the images along with a red promarker.  The ribbon is from my stash.

Baby Dragon

The inspiration for this card came from Beccy's Challenge option which was 'local to the area you live'.  Immediate panic as I have lived here in Wales for less than 2yrs! 

I then spotted some welsh flag ribbon that I had which led me to use this cute baby dragon and colour him red like the welsh dragon on the flag.  As the rest of the flag is green and white I have used these colours for my base card and my embossed mat.  The DP is a scrap from my stash.  I wanted to incorporate the national flower which is the daffodil.  Unfortunately I had nothing suitable so used a poinsettia die instead to represent the daffodil.  The sentiment is from LOTV and I have gone around the edge with distress ink.
