With Love

Today I have a nice, quick & easy card for you.

I fancied doing some stamping so came up with this.  The background has been stamped randomly with Hero Arts stamps which I have not used before.  The stamped heart image & sentiment are magazine freebies from years ago.  I have added Card Candi to these.  Simple matting & layering for this one

Dreamy

Today I have made a very simple 'one layer' card using a Penny Black stamp called 'Dreamy'.  (Hence the title of this post.)  All I did was stamp directly onto the card blank using different ink pads.  The sentiment is one from Clearly Besotted.

Sweet Valentine

This is my second card today and I have used a lovely little stamp from Penny Black which I have coloured with promarkers and then layered using dies.  The background card has been embossed with a heart folder and I have added some scrap ribbon.  The flowers and leaves have been hand punched from packaging and I have added a few gems.

Cherished Friends

Today I have made another Christmas card using one of my favourite Sugar Nellie stamps which I coloured lightly with promarkers.  I also distressed and glittered the edge of the main image before die cutting it.  The sentiment is a Crafters Companion stamp which I have also die cut and added heart gems to.  I coloured the lace doily with a Brilliance ink pad.  The backing paper was a freebie.

I have decided to make the most of all my magazine freebies by using them as much as possible instead of ignoring them.

You might notice that my picture has improved a lot.  Yay!!!  I finally got my new printer!  This means I can ditch the camera and go back to scanning my cards.

Here is my second card today.

I stamped this cute owl upside down and coloured it with promarkers.  This stamp was a freebie and stamps very well.  The little butterfly is a Debbi Moore stamp, also a freebie, while the sentiment is from Woodware.  A bit of ribbon finishes it off.

Holly Wreath

For this card I have used a stamp from LOTV called Ski Jump and coloured it with promarkers.  The paper is from Dovecraft and the sentiment is computer generated.

Scrap Card

The title of this card came about because everything used is from scraps or packaging.  I do like to see what I can make with "rubbish".

You might recognize the green card as the packaging the free die came from.  The bottom piece has the die printed on it whereas the top piece has the die cut out of scrap card on it.  I have embellished the top one with a few pearls.  The ric rac ribbon was an odd offcut lying around.  The stamps used are from Papermania and Hobby Art.
