The ABC challenge this week is 'A is for Anniversary' so I thought this Bookatrix suited it very well. Using the Bookatrix embossing board I made four pages using, from the bottom to the top, red pearl card, ivory glitter card, red mirri card and parchment paper. On the parchment one (before embossing it) I printed a computer generated verse which I heat embossed before the ink dried. I then used peel off borders and corners to decorate all the pages, curled them and layered them. I then added a decoupage image to the left side and a ribbon and bow down the middle. I finished it off with some more peel offs and gems. I then made a box and stand for it.Card RecipeBookatrix Embossing Board - Keepsake CraftsCard/Paper - Craft Creations & Kingfisher CraftsDecoupage - Sorry, can't rememberRibbon/Peel Offs/Gems - My StashThanks for looking.

This week's challenge at Cupcake Craft is 3,2,1, (3 card, 2 embellishments and 1 ribbon). I think this card has a few more than that ha!ha! I made this Bookatrix card for a friend to give her daughter tomorrow, I hope she likes it.First I embossed and cut out the two largest pages using the Bookatrix embossing board from the Glitter Girls (one of my favourites). I then printed the verse onto a sheet of parchment and heat embossed it in silver while the ink was still wet. I then embossed and cut it out as above. I added peeloff borders and corners to these. The six-sided (forgotten what it's called) behind the flowers was embossed etc. using their Majestic board. I made the bouquets and stuck them on using silicone glue and added vellum butterflies. Having added the organza ribbon I made a matching box and a little stand.Card RecipeBookatrix & Majestic Boards - Keepsake CraftsPearl cardstock & paper - stashFlowers - HobbycraftPeeloffs, ribbon, butterflies - stashThanks for looking.
