While I was pottering about in my craft stash I came across this very old digi stamp from The Greeting Farm.  I thought I might as well make a card with her so coloured her with promarkers and then paper pieced her outfit.  My DP's are from Nitwits, ribbon from SU and the sentiment stamp is another magazine freebie.  Pearls are from my stash.

Spring

For this card I started by turning the sketch.  I inked the edges of my base card with distress ink before stamping my sentiment.  I then embossed some kraft card with an embossing folder and applied more distress inks.  I then made a panel using some floral DP.  Next I coloured my digi stamp with promarkers.  Before attaching my image with foam pads I placed some die cut leaves behind and added some paper flowers.

29 Again?

A birthday card this time.  I have coloured my Bugaboo digi stamp with promarkers and added some crystal glaze.  I have been playing with some dies free from a magazine.  I have just made the die cut panels using different shades of purple cardstock topped with white.The die cut sentiment is part of the set.  I found a scrap of grossgrain ribbon that was just long enough.  Lastly I added a few pearls.

When making cards for a female I prefer to use pearls as I think they are more feminine.  If I am making a masculine card then I prefer to use buttons.

Dachshund Through The Snow...

This festive card is made using pre-coloured papercraft kits from Hunkydory.

Using my nestie dies I cut out and assembled a circular easel base card.  I then used the same die to cut the DP and attached to the base.  I then layered up the main image and attached with foam pads.  I also attached the sentiment with foam pads.

Birthday Wishes

Using papers that were old magazine freebies I covered my card following the sketch.  I die cut a border and added some ribbon and matching bow.  The two vertical panels have been embossed with another freebie, as is the die cut sentiment.  I coloured my stamped image with promarkers and attached with foam pads.

Teabag

Another quick card this time using a digi stamp from Bugaboo along with some more magazine freebie stamps.  My image has been coloured with promarkers which I have also used to ink the edges of my panel.  Once I had stuck some spotty washi tape across the panel I stamped the sentiment and corner.  Finally I fussy cut the image and attached with foam pads.

Under The Weather

Another card using some great magazine freebies.  The umbrella has been stamped, heat embossed and die cut before being glued to the card.  The sentiment stamp has been heat embossed and fussy cut before attaching with foam pads.  Clouds and rain simply stamped.

Daydream

Here is a cute little image from Crafty Sentiments which I have coloured with promarkers.  The DP is from my scrap box.  The sentiment stamp is from LOTV.  My butterfly and leaves are punched and coloured with promarkers.  A few paper flowers,gems, bit of ribbon and a ladybug sticker and the card is complete.

Tall and Skinny

I must admit that although Easter allows you to eat chocolate without the guilt, I much prefer Spring as my favourite type of flowers start to bloom.  The Spring flowers make the place look more cheerful and shows you the promise of warmer weather, we hope.

Onto my card.  I don't usually make this size of card but thought I would have a go anyway.  My stamp is from Penny Black and I have coloured it with promarkers.  The DP is from Nitwits and the sentiment from Hunkydory.

Art Nouveau

With this one I first turned the sketch.  After adding a black mat to my base card I embossed part of my white mat using a folder and then added some DP which was free with a magazine.  To this I added some metallic ribbon.  My magazine freebie image and sentiment stamps have been heat embossed and attached with foam pads.  I coloured my image with a promarker along with my die cut flower.  Finally I added an old button to the flower.

Skandi Christmas Take Two!!!

I don't know what was going on yesterday???  I had already posted and linked my first card with no trouble, but when later I tried to do the same for the second card (see post below) I couldn't get the 'linky things' to accept my entries.  It was happening on all the sites I was trying to link to.  A lot of my blog pictures were not showing and even though I tried to leave a link in the comments section each time, that doesn't seem to have worked either!!!    

If anyone has any idea what might of happened please can you leave me a comment letting me know as I haven't a clue, thanks.

I hope the gremlins have left as I try again with a second card on the same sites.....

I have just made another easel card using the same magazine freebie stamps but with different freebie DP.  Again I heat embossed the stamps.  I fussy cut around the bird stamp before matting and layering that and the sentiment with die cuts.  The little sprig die I used was also a freebie.  This time I have changed the shape of the base card and also added some gems.

50th Birthday

I have made this easel card for a lady who will be celebrating her 50th birthday later this year.  My DP is from the Paper Cellar and my digi stamp image and sentiment is from Bugaboo.  I have coloured the image with promarkers and added some crystal glaze.  I die cut the numbers and added some gems to let them stand out a bit.  The ribbon threading border die cut is new and actually fits across my 15cm card blank as it is.

Mother's Day

Here is a Mother's Day card I have made in one of my favourite colour combos, pink, green and white.  I turned the sketch (539) upside down so that I could make a fold-back card.  The gorgeous pink DP is an old magazine freebie.  I die cut a border and added a recycled ribbon printed with "Happy Mother's Day" as my sentiment.  My cute kitten digi stamp is from Di's Digis and I have coloured it with promarkers.  Once attached I added some paper flowers from my stash.

Birthday Wishes

A quick card today made from scraps and old stash.  I heat embossed the sentiment and dry embossed the banner using a folder.  The papers/cardstock are from my scrap box.  After attaching the sentiment with foam pads to give dimension I added a bow and some flower gems.

Christmas Trees

Another CAS Christmas card for the box.  The main background paper is from Nitwits and the strip is out of my scraps box.  The digi stamp is from Bugaboo and I have coloured it with promarkers and added glitter glue.  I made the image into a tag and attached it with foam pads.  Three pearls completes the card.

Yee Haa!

My grandson Billy celebrated his birthday this week and this is the card I made him.  He so loves this old tv show from the 1970's and says "Yee Haa!" when he sees the car leap into the air.

As I could not find any digi/rubber stamps suitable I had to download and print images from the computer.  Once I had a few images I fussy cut them so that I could decoupage them to give a 3D look.  I attached the title with foam pads and stamped the "Yee Haa!" directly onto the card and heat embossed it.
