Stamptacular (113) - Bugs Or Boys (Butterflies)
For our challenge this week at Whoopsi Daisy we want you to get out all your lovely 'Lace And Ribbons' and use them instead of just stroking them! You can of course use paper versions like I have.
Isn't this little ballerina just the cutest? I have coloured her with promarkers and used Sakura Stardust on the flowers on her dress for a bit of sparkle. I have attached her with foam pads to give her a bit of dimension. The lacey butterflies have been punched with gems added to the body. Hope you like this one, thanks for looking.

Papertake - Pale, Pretty Pastels
Digi Doodle Shop(60) - Anything Goes
Paperplay (21) - Bloosom and Blooms
This week's challenge for you at the Lili Of The Valley Challenge Blog is one of my favourite themes 'Fairies'. A good excuse to get all your sparkly things out to play with. This weeks sponsors are Lisa and Laila at LOTV who are kindly donating a £10.00 voucher for one lucky winner. Do remember though, to be eligable for the prize you MUST use an LOTV product on your creation.
I have chosen the gorgeous little 'Dandelion Clock' fairy for my card and coloured her with promarkers and glitter. I have distressed and glittered the edges of the image too. The butterflies have been punched and gems added to their bodies. The flowers and leaves have also been punched with roses added to the centres, which I have also glittered. Hope you like my little fairy, thanks for looking.

Cute Card Thursday (165) - Let's Get Krafty
Sketch & Stash (62) - Sketch (New Image & Ribbon)
Digital Tuesday (112) - Add Texture
Creative Card Crew - Anything Goes
Well, Here is my first DT card for the Crafty Creations Challenge which this week is to make a 'Get Well Card'. We are kindly being sponsored by Digis With Attitude who have some fantastic digi stamps so why not pop on over and have a look for yourself. The DT were lucky enough to be given some images to play with and the one I chose is called 'Sicky Pooh' and can be found here.
OK, onto my card then. My base card is chocolate brown and layered with cream and kraft. Next I added some cream panels down the sides which I dry embossed and inbetween I added some cream lace. I punched some cream card with a border punch and added some brown and Cream satin ribbon before attaching across the middle of the card. The image was stamped onto white card and coloured with promarkers and chalk before layering using nesties and attaching with foam pads. The sentiment has been stamped, chalked and layed as well. Finally I made two bows with the ribbon and added a fimo heart to the middle (not too sure if this works). You may have noticed that although I was following the great sketch I did swap the elements over as it looked better that way, hope that was alright. Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Challenges
Whoopsi Daisy GDT - Birthday Card
Papertake - Bloom & Grow
Charisma Cardz (20) - Birthday In Pink
Digi Doodle Shop (59) - Embossing
It's Monday so it must be time for another Whoopsi Daisy Challenge and this week we have made it easy for you. We would like you to make a 'Birthday Card'. Don't forget that Linnie has some fantastic digi stamps that you can purchase here. Ideal to use on your birthday cards.
As you can see I have done a side-step card and kept it fairly simple in design. I embossed the main part of the card using a CB embossing folder. I have coloured the main image with promarkers and distress ink. I then added some texture by using flowersoft on the flowers. After layering it with nesties I finished this side with some card candy. The angel image and sentiment has been coloured in the same way as the main image. A bow and pearl heart finishes the card off nicely. Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

It's Sunday and time for another challenge with Creative Inspirations and this time we have a nice little No Cooking Cupcake recipe for you to cook up a project with. We want you to use the following items on your delicious creations - cupcake/ribbon or lace/2 flowers/pearls. Our fantastic sponsor this time is Robyn's Fetish who has donated a great prize for one lucky winner.
I have decided to do one of these lovely step cards again but this time I have altered the measurements so that it fits an A5 envelope. The images have been coloured with Promarkers. On the main image I have added a piece of stripey ribbon and some pearl flowers and butterflies. The cakes at the sides have been stamped, aren't they yummy? The flowers and leaves at the bottom have been punched and little roses added to the centres. A simple rub-on greeting finishes the card. Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Yep! It's my 60th birthday today and I don't care who knows it. Pity I have to wait until next year for my bus pass when I can also retire and take up cardmaking full time :)
Sorry I have not blogged for quite some time but first I went away to my son's for a weeks holiday and then I have been busy with DT work and organising TWO birthday celebrations!!!
I came back from my holiday to find a fantastic email asking me if I would like to join the Design Team at Crafty Creations, Whoo Hoo! Naturally I was tickled pink and immediately said yes! I feel honoured to join such a talented group of ladies and hope I can live up to their expectations, thank you ladies for asking me to join you. My first DT card will be on Wednesday so watch this space.....
I have a lot of catching up to do now so had better get a wriggle on as I have some more DT work to do and I might just have some candy coming up.....

Challenges
Whoopsi Daisy (GDT) - Things With Wings
I am having to schedule this post as I have gone to my son's for a much needed break so I hope Mr Blogger is playing nicely again today.
Our challenge this week at Whoopsie Daisy is a nice easy one, the theme is 'Things With Wings' and as you can see I couldn't resist this gorgeous fairy. She so reminds me of the 'Art Deco' stlye. I have coloured her with promarkers, Sakura Stardust pen and glitter. Can you see the very tiny gems on her jewelry? At either side of the card I have embossed some flowers adding glitter and gems. Hope you like this one, thanks for looking.

Challenges
Creative Inspiration DT (59) - Glitz & Bling
I am having to schedule this card as I have gone to my son's for a much needed break so I hope Mr Blogger is playing nicely today.
For this week's challenge we want you to get out all your 'Glitz & Bling' and show us what you can do with it. Our kind sponsors this week are Simon Says Stamps and Joanna Sheen who have donated some great prizes for one lucky winner.
I have gone for quite an unusual colour scheme of peach and purple for this card and I think it has come out rather well. I have coloured the image with promarkers and also the flowers. Do you like my sparkly velvet ribbon, isn't it gorgeous? I found it some time ago in a haberdashery shop and managed to get a few different colours to play with. Hope you like this card, thanks for looking.

MIA
Just popped in to let you all know that I am going to be MIA for a while as I am having a much needed break at my son's. I have scheduled a couple of DT posts for the next couple of days so I hope Mr Blogger doesn't go on his holidays as well. Hopefully while I'm away I will find my mojo as he has been gone walkabout as well. See you all when I get back.

LOTV (96) - Animal Antics!
Challenges
Lili Of The Valley DT (96) - Animal Antics
Papertake - Anything Goes (Something Round)
Cute Card Thursday (163) - Chocolate
It's Thursday again which means another challenge at Lili Of The Valley and this week we have a theme of 'Animal Antics' so let's see all your cuddly animals on your projects. We are again being sponsored by Lisa & Laila who have kindly donated a £10.00 voucher to spend in the LOTV Online Shop. Don't forget, to be eligble for the prize you have to use an LOTV image on your project. The DT have created some beautiful cards so why not pop on over to their blogs and have a look.
For my card I have done a step type card which I have made to fit an A5 envelope. As a work colleague is leaving us I have made her a good luck card using the 'Lucky Cats' stamp from the recently released animal range from LOTV. I have teamed this up with one of their fantastic circular sentiments. I have used embossed card for the base card, you should be able to see the flowers on it if you look carefully. I then cut a panel of card and overlayed it with gingham paper before adding some gorgeous black lace. The image has been coloured with Promarkers and layered with Nesties. I also layered the sentiment. I didn't have any black card candy so I coloured some shiny silver ones with a black promarker and was very pleased with the result. I added some punched flowers and placed pearls in their centres to both side strips. A little punched butterfly finishes the card off, hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Jumping For Joy!
Challenges
Whoopsi Daisy GDT - No Layers Or Mats
Crafty Creations (116) - White Space
I Love Promarkers (63) - No Design Papers
Mami Doodles (103) - Let's Get Girly
Totally Papercrafts (64) - Glitter
Cupcake Craft (139) - Something Beginning With 'C' (Charm)
Pollycraft (91) - Anything Goes
Stamp With Fun (109) - Lace Or Ribbon
Woo! Hoo! Great News! I am certainly 'jumping for joy' as I have been asked by Linnie to be a Guest Designer for six months on the Whoopsi Daisy Challenge Blog and of course I said a whopping big YES! If you love 'cute' as much as I do you will love her great digi stamps which you can find here, and at only £1.99 a sheet they are wonderful value too.
This week's challenge is 'No Layers Or Mats' which I found quite daunting, but it's not much of a challenge if it is too easy is it? Once I got my head around the idea I found it made a refreshing change from a multi layered card and I think it came out quite well. The other girls have made some fantastic cards so why not pop on over to the blog and have a look. Don't forget to have a go at the challenge as well.
My base card had already been embossed and had an oval panel in the middle which I covered with glitter. I then coloured the image with promarkers and more glitter and attached her with foam pads. The little flowers have been punched from silver holographic card and green gems added to the centres. A piece of organza ribbon and a little tutu charm finish es the card off. Hope you like this one, thanks for looking.
