Party Time
As this is my last post before Christmas I should like to take this opportunity to wish all my followers and blog visitors a
Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy and Peaceful New Year!
Big Hugs especially to all those who will be on their own over the festive season.
After covering my base card with design paper I added a strip of washi tape along the centre. My digi stamp has been coloured with promarkers and after die cutting and layering I attached with foam pads. I repeated this with the sentiment stamp. Next I added a die cut banner. Finally a few star peel-offs and the card is finished.

Thinking Of You
Here is a one layer CAS card that is simply stamped with a bit of twinkling H2o's painted onto the branch image which doesn't show up in the photo but looks lovely in real life. Ideal for several occasions and a good standby card.

More Baubles
I made this some time ago but never got around to putting it on here. Having attached co-ordinating design paper panels to the base card I added glitter glue to the central one. Meanwhile the baubles were stamped and die cut before attaching with foam pads. A bit more glitter glue finishes this card.

Suprise!
I started this card by stamping directly onto the card blank with a holly stamp. Having coloured my digi with promarkers and adding a bit of liquid pearls on his hat I stamped a sentiment underneath. I then die cut the image and glued it to a die cut mat. Before attaching it to the base card I tied some ribbon around it and finally added some pearls.

Yoo! Hoo! Anyone There?
Apologies for rubbish photo but there is hardly any light here in Wales as yet again it is dull and rainy.
On top of my dark red base card I have attached a white mat which I have added offcuts leftover from my previous card. I neatened the edges with gold washi tape. I also die cut some holly and placed it behind my image. I have coloured my image with promarkers and a touch of glitter glue before attaching with foam pads.

I have coloured my image with promarkers and adding glitter glue, fun flock and crystal glaze. Both the image and sentiment have gold mirri card mats and attached with foam pads. The paper behind the plaid design paper is gold pearl paper.

Winter Penguin
Two of my favourite types of challenge are sketches and bingo and I have combined both for this cute card. My image has been coloured with promarkers and glitter glue. I have die cut my snowflakes from my favourite glittery card and added some sparkly pearls. A Hunkydory sentiment finishes the card.

Gift Bag
I have made a gift bag this time (ideal for a grumpy man). My digi stamp has been coloured with promarkers with a bit of crystal glaze added to his eyes and the bauble. I wanted to add the words 'Bah Humbug!' to the image but don't have the relevant stamp. After matting and layering, keeping it all flat, I added some silver glitter ribbon and bow and placed a die cut silver mirri snowflake behind. Finally, I die cut and stamped a tag which I attached with more ribbon.

Armed and Dangerous!!!
Day 2 of the Bugaboo 'Holiday Critter Chaos' is a sketch to follow. I have mat and layered my base card with contrasting design papers including the gorgeous one with circles all over. I then wrapped some silver glitter ribbon around the middle. I coloured my digi stamp with promarkers to match all the circles on the paper and added some glitter glue. Having die cut the image I attached it with foam pads and added a silver glitter bow. A Hunkydory sentiment and that's it, job done!!!

To "Ewe"
As I love Bugaboo digi stamps and have finished all xmas cards for this year, I thought I would join in with the 'Holiday Critter Chaos' and make a start on next years cards etc...
I kept this one very simple as I think the embossed mirri card is busy enough. My image has been coloured with promarkers and along with the sentiment has been raised with foam pads. A couple of bits of snowflake ribbon finishes the card.

Feeling Sketchy Challenge Blog GDT 231
Sketch 231
I am honoured to be the GDT this week on the Feeling Sketchy Challenge Blog and hope you will all come on over and join us for this week's challenge.
Starting with a white base card I die cut my flower panel using green/gold pearl cardstock and glued it to the card. I then added a bit of yellow with a promarker as I wanted the flowers to look like Christmas roses. I then attached a piece of ribbon and added a bow and bells topped with an old button. Finally I added a stamped sentiment.
So come on over to the Feeling Sketchy Challenge Blog and see what the rest of the lovely, talented ladies on the DT have created for your inspiration. I look forward to seeing what you all create...

Snow Family
I just love the Hunkydory papercraft collections (pre-coloured), and have been stocking up on them lately, along with their Little Books. They are not just ideal for when you don't have time for all the faffing about of stamping and colouring, but they make very elegant cards which are always favourably received.
Above is one of the many I have made recently and as you can see it is an easel card. Having folded the card base I added a mat of silver mirri card followed by a mat of design paper (possilbly Papermania). On the top part I then glued a die cut fir tree to the side before attaching my image with foam pads. I then added a further two trees, all of which I edged with glitter glue. A few die cut snowflakes with added gems finishes the top part. On the bottom part I simply added a long panel cut from silver mirri card topped with design paper. To this I added more snowflakes and a sentiment raised up with foam pads.

Oh Baubles!
Here is something I have not made for years - a triple easel card!
I have kept it very clean and simple as that seems to be the style I like at the moment while I ease myself back into crafting.
As you can see the base card elements are die cut from gold metallic mirri card. I printed out my Beccy Muir pre-coloured image in 3 different sizes and glued them to gold mats before attaching to the base card. Some die cut holly leaves and red gems finish it.

Sunny Thoughts
Here is one of my favourite Penny Black floral stamps which I have coloured with promarkers, layered and tied an organza ribbon and bow around before attaching with foam pads. The floral paper is a magazine freebie. I added an embossed panel to the bottom of my card, added more ribbon and a stamped sentiment which I die cut.

Snow
Cards for men I find are the most difficult to make especially if they don't have the stereotypical interests like sport and drinking. I think this one should suit though.
I have used dark grey for my base card and dark red under my design paper to keep it manly. My Bugaboo image has been coloured with promarkers and glitter glue. Die cut snowflakes with gems finish it off.

Santa Door Hanger
I had a go at making a door hanger using an old Sugar Nellie stamp which I coloured with promarkers and added a sentiment. The aperture is die cut and framed. A nice red satin bow to finish. Please note that Santa is carrying his gifts in his sack, but only for good little boys and girls...
