Get Ready...

Having layered my base card with a couple of design papers I then attached my image with foam pads.  My image has been coloured with promarkers and I have added an icing bag and chef's hat.  I then added the wooden spoons all of which have been stamped, coloured and fussy cut.  A stamped sentiment and die cut gingerbread men finish the card.

My cute little snowman from LOTV has been coloured with promarkers and distress ink then layered onto grey cardstock.  I turned the sketch and added distress ink to my base card before attaching the image with foam pads.  I kept it simple with a peel-off sentiment and snowflake stickers.

Seasons Greetings

Starting with a white base card I matted and layered it with dark green card, some holly design paper and gold mirri card which I embossed.  I then added a strip of the green card and added some gold sparkly ribbon.  I die cut the sentiment and placed it on a die cut mat adding some gems.  Finally some die cut holly leaves and gems finishes the card.

Peeking Santa

Here we have Santa peeking through the window coloured with promarkers and a bit of glitter glue.  The sentiment is stamped with green ink.  Following the sketch I layered several papers and adding red washi tape across the middle.  I then attached the image with foam pads.  With the base card there is 7 layers to this card...

O Christmas Tree

Well, this one took a bit of thinking about.  The challenge was to pick one of the triangles in either of the layouts and then your WHOLE design had to fit into it.

As you can see I picked the bottom of the first layout (It bothers me if something is not symmetrical or balanced).

I simply stamped my tree and sentiment directly onto my card base with green dye ink.  I then added glitter glue.

Ho Ho Ho!

Recently I bought some Kraft card that was on offer and had a little play with it as I have never stamped on it before.  I must admit that I am rather pleased with how it turned out so you might see more in the future.

Having matted and layered my base card I stamped and heat embossed in white.  I then added a slightly gold glitter glue to the snowflakes and the holly berries.

Magical Christmas

It's a bit difficult to see in the photo but I have used green mirri card to layer my starry cardstock onto.  The starry card is recycled from packaging and I have added glitter glue.  The sentiment stamp is yet another magazine freebie.

Birthday

The colours used on this card were a bit of a challenge to me as I don't normally use any of them a great deal.  I think it turned out ok though although I have just noticed I stamped the sentiment in the wrong place on the sketch (artistic license???).  I have coloured my Magnolia fairy with promarkers and added glitter glue to her wings.  I also fussy cut her so she looks as if she is sat on the orange ribbon.

Something A Bit Different

I do like to recycle and upcycle things when I can and on this occasion I have recycled some old fabric poinsettias from a Christmas decoration.

Having separated all the layers of the flowers I coloured them with my promarkers before re-assembling them again.  I added a hairclip to the back of each flower so that I could easily change them on the hat if required.  Two of them have silver coloured filigrees on them whilst the one I needed has a very old large crystal button, nice and sparkly.

I now had a hat that coordinated with the colour theme of the wedding.

A Note Of Thanks

A little thank you card today.  I stamped a sentiment directly onto some design paper before sticking to my base card.  I then stamped and die cut the circles and banner, edging them with ink.  I have raised the banner with foam pads.

Pine Wreath

Here is a quick card using stamps that were free with magazines.  I stamped in green then coloured the cones with ink.  That needs practice I think.

Birthday Wishes

I came across this little cutie already coloured with promarkers and realised I must have coloured her over 3yrs ago, looking good for her age...

I then had a good rummage and found some old magazine freebie papers that matched rather well.  The sentiment stamp was also a freebie.  A bit of washi tape and she is ready to be personalized when I know who is getting her.

BINGO! I got a FULL HOUSE on my bingo card!

I do like these bingo cards as they make me remember stash that is hidden from view in boxes etc like my charms...

I must admit that now I have cataracts I found the sketch rather difficult to see as it was busy with patterns but hopefully I have managed to follow it.

Later I shall balance the top left corner by personalizing it for the recipient.

Silhouette

Last card for today is another quick CAS one.  Simply stamped and a touch of sakura pen and glitter glue added.  I keep wanting to add a faded moon to the top right corner, what do you think?

Poinsettia

Here I am again trying to get the hang of doing CAS cards.

This time my base card is Kraft card and I have added a torn strip of red vellum.  I attached a die cut gold poinsettia and added a sentiment from Hunkydory.

Nice and quick!

Thank You

Another quick thank you card for when it is needed.  Apart from my base card and Bugaboo rose digi (coloured with promarkers) everything on this card was oddments lying around my craft desk.

I am trying very hard to use up old bits and pieces from my stash rather than buy new.  Some of it I have had since I started papercrafting in 2008...

Fantasy On Ice

I love anything to do with ice skating as it was love at first sight when I met the love of my life one Christmas at the local ice rink (now sadly gone).

I have added glitter glue to this pre-coloured digi from the Paper Shelter and attached her to a die cut mat and frame of glitter paper (more like fabric).  The sentiment is from Hunkydory and the peel-off snowflakes are from my stash.
