Tilda With Hawaiin Flower

Challenges

Magnolia-Licious - Spring Blossoms
Marvelous Magnolias (20) - Wings
Polkadoodles (13) - Paper Piecing
All That Stickles (7) - Yellow
Magnolia Down Under (190) - Sketch

As you can see I have had a little play with Tilda.  I love everything about this stamp and for some strange reason have always coloured her in pink.  Not this time though - I've gone for lilac!  Having coloured the image with promarkers I paper pieced her dress.  I have added real lace down the sides of the central panel and satin ribbon along the bottom.  The circle behind the image is an old CD that I inked and very carefully heat embossed with holographic EP to make it all sparkly.  The paper flowers have been embossed and I have added yellow stickles to the centres.  A beaded satin butterfly finishes the card.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Today I have a card made with another new stamp.  Following the great sketch I started by attaching some cream carstock to my white base card.  Next I added some peach coloured paper with punched corners (haven't done that for a while).  Then I punched a strip and added more pretty paper.  I coloured the sweet image with promarkers, layered it and attached with foam pads.  The sentiment was cut and layered.  The butterfly and flowers have all been punched and gems added.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Today I have been playing with a couple of new things and made this card.  I followed this week's sketch but turned it first before attaching this gorgeous paper to the bottom of the card and then adding the sky.  I made the sky by using my new embossing cloud folder with core-dinations card and sanding it.  This is the first time I have done this and really like the soft effect it gives the clouds.  I then added a die-cut picket fence.  Next I punched a photo corner and added it to the bottom corner and decorated it with flower gems.  The next job was to add some glitter glue to the floral paper for a bit of added sparkle.  I coloured my new image with promarkers, cut her out and attached her with foam pads.  Finally I added some butterflies which were die-cut from metallic, sparkly card.  I added some glitter glue to them as well.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Decoupaged Flowers

Challenges

Passion For Promarkers (190) - Butterflies
Fab 'N' Funky (163) - Pink/Green/Brown
M.A.W.T.T. (190) - Decoupage

I got some new stamps recently and decided to have a little play with them at the weekend.  I think I might have put too many flowers on the card and the second part of the sentiment is difficult to see (should have matted and layered it).  Never mind, at least I had fun cutting all the flowers out...

I started by stamping the leaves directly onto the paper and colouring them with promarkers.  Next I stamped all the flowers onto some more paper, cut them out and decoupaged them onto the leaves.  Then I stamped and coloured the sentiment.  Finally I found some old vellum butterflies and attached them.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Time for a new challenge at Whoopsi Daisy and this week we want you to 'Punch It Out'.  So dust off all those border, flower and leaf punches, add them to one of Linnie's great digi stamps (FREEBIE HERE)and join in the fun.

This week I've made a teal green and white easel card for my sister's birthday next month.  I hope she can see that it is green and not blue as she hates the colour blue.

For the top of the easel I dry embossed the white card with my new 'honeycomb' embossing folder.  I inked a doily and placed it onto the embossed card.  I then punched a panel of green and topped it with white card and floral paper and added a sentiment.  I coloured the sweet image with promarkers before layering and attaching to the card.  Finally I die-cut some leaves and added punched daisies with gem centres.

For the bottom of the easel I covered the base with white card and added floral paper.  I then added a satin ribbon tied into a bow.  Another stamped sentiment is added and a few more flowers.  Finally a butterfly charm finishes the card.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Apologies for being late in posting my card, a busy week again...

Time for a new challenge at Lili's Little Fairies and this week the theme is 'Top Of The Pops'.  In other words, we want you to be inspired by a song.

The song that gave me inspiration for my card is 'Lazy Sunday Afternoon', a golden oldie by The Small Faces.  I coloured my image with promarkers as usual but please note; the stamp DOES NOT come with the clouds on it, I added them.  I think he is a naughty little bear as he hasn't put his parasol up to shade him from the sun.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Here's another card made with magazine freebies.  This time using the papers that came with the stamps and following a design in the magazine, but altering it slightly.  This time the owl was stamped onto pink and aqua green cardstock using a brown inkpad.  I then coloured in bits with promarkers, distressed the edges with ink and added gems to the eyes.  I also distressed all the other edges.  Before attaching I backed the image with a lace doily.  The little bird at the top was cut from some of the paper.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Challenges

Catch The Bug - Anything Goes
That Craft Place - Anything Goes

Time for a new challenge at Whoopsi Daisy and this week we want you to 'Use Two Patterned Papers' on your creations.  While you are at it, why not try using one of Linnies great digis?  You can always find a FREEBIE here if you don't have one.

I have decided to give one of my favourite boys an outing this week.  I have coloured him with promarkers as usual.  Onto my base card I lyered silver mirri  and blue cardstock which I topped with this gorgeous stripey paper.  Then I punched a couple of borders adding a contrast paper.  I didn't want to put ribbon on it, as that was too girly, so tied an old shoe lace around.  As you can see I have put silver eyelets in the corners (fancied making a lot of noise), and a few buttons to finish.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Sorry for the late posting of my DT card.  I don't know what happened yesterday, it just got away from me.

Time for a new challenge at Lili's Little Fairies and this week we have a colour challenge for you, 'Peaches & Cream'.

As you can see I have made a Mother's Day card this week using this cute bunny stamp called 'Bunches Of Love', which I think is ideal for the occassion.  I have coloured the image with promarkers as usual and double layered it using nesties.  I have threaded satin ribbon through the largest layer and tied it into a bow.  I then added some fabric and resin flowers before attaching it to the card.  A little gem heart added to the stamped sentiment finishes the card off.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Today I have a male themed birthday card to show you.  Following the great sketch I layered my base card with various panels cut with nesties.  I embossed the plain panel with one of my new embossing folders using coredinations cardstock and then sanded it to give a slight distressed look.  The image has been coloured with promarkers and I have added crystal glaze here and there.  The helmet has been stamped, coloured and covered in crystal glaze.  Having layered the sentiment I attached a small piece of ribbon to it before attaching it with foam pads.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.
