Time for another challenge at Creative Inspirations and this time Suzi has picked the theme 'Glitter, Glamour & Girly'. So get yourself and everything else covered in glittery sparkles this fortnight, can't wait to see what you all create. The DT have made some gorgeous creations so make sure you pop over to their blogs for a nosey. This time we have two sponsors. First we are kindly being sponsored by Paper Cupcakes who have donated two digi images. Secondly Fantastic Ribbons our monthly sponsor is donating some gorgeous ribbon to the winner. Now all that is certainly worth entering for don't you think?
Ok, onto my card, and as you can see I have used two images from the new 'Party Girls' collection from LOTV. I just love the one having a strop, don't you? I followed the great sketch which wasn't quite as difficult as I first imagined, using two images and two sentiments (and if you notice, the larger gems can be divided by two). I coloured both images with Promarkers and added glitter to the images and the edges. The sentiments are simply stamped and layered. I also added three glittery gems to the image on the right, can you spot them? A little bow finishes the card off, hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Hello Cupcake LOTV Sneek Peak
NEW RELEASE COMING SOON!
I am sooo excited as LOTV are releasing MORE Girly stamps in November. They are also releasing some wonderful Circular Sentiments and believe me they are to die for. They are going to be so useful on ALL your projects. Anyway back to the Girly stamps which are called 'Party Girls' and 'Tea And Chat', so that gives you a bit of an idea of what's coming - are you tempted already? There will also be some new Cut Squares so keep an eye out for those as well, so useful. LOTV are launching all these wonderful new products on Thursday 4th November at the N.E.C. (form an orderly queue now, no pushing and shoving) and will be available on the website from Friday 12th November.

Digi Doodle Shop (31) - Anything Goes
Time for another Lili Of The Valley challenge and this week we have a great sketch for you to follow. We are again being sponsored by Lisa & Laila who have kindly donated a £10.00 voucher to spend in the LOTV Online Shop. The DT have created some beautiful cards so why not pop on over to the blog and have a look.
I have used one of the new stamps for my card this week. This one is called 'Hello Cupcake'. Isn't she adorable? I just love all those gorgeous cupcakes she's about to tuck into. I have coloured her with Promarkers and inked and distressed the edges. I have also used one of the new circular sentiments, punched out and layered onto a Nestie. I have also used a border punch at the top and bottom of the card. The larger cupcakes have been stamped and coloured with Promarkers. This time though I heat embossed the icing with clear EP for a glossy finish. Altogether a yummy card! Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Magnolia Down Under (69) - All Aboard
Totally Tilda (8) - Pink & Pearls
Sketch & Stash (47) - Sketch (Stamp/Sentiment)
I won this stamp a little while ago and thought it was about time I inked it up as she is so gorgeous. I have coloured her with Promarkers as usual. When I looked at the photo I saw fuschia pink, green and white so that is what I have used. Quite unusual for a Christmas card I thought. Have you spotted the wonderful circular sentiment? It is one of LOTV's new release for November, I totally love these. The flowers/corners have been punched. A few pearls and gems to finish. Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

A Spoonful Of Sugar (127) - Let's Get Punchy
I couldn't resist having a go with this unusual colour combo as it is totally alien to me. I started off by colouring the image with Promarkers using the colour combo and then using chalks around the image. I also used the chalk on the little ticket. The heart, flowers, ticket and border strip have all been punched. To finish off I added a lovely spotty ribbon. Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Truly Scrumptious (43) - Sketch
Crafty Creations (90) - Red/Brown/Green
Totally Papercrafts (39) - Stck A Number On It
Whoopsie Daisy - Let's Paper Piece
Ever since I have had this stamp I have thought she might look good in tartan so I finally had a go. I will be the first to admit my choice of colours for her cape and inside the bonnet kept going horribly wrong so in the end I went over it all with brown to hide it. Although I'm not totally happy with that bit I think it just about works. Having coloured her with Promarkers I then paper pieced her dress and hat. I have also flocked her muff. The dark green card has been embossed with a holly branch and the snowflakes have been punched. The date on the little strip at the bottom was done using rub-ons and I have highlighted it with a punched buckle. Finally I added a few gems and a bow. Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Challenges
Sketch Saturday (126) - Sketch
Digi Doodle Shop (30) - Keep it Simple
Just Cute Bears (38) - Sketch
As the two sketches have very similar elements and layout I thought with a slight bit of tweeking I could get away with combining the two. If I can't just delete my entry. I have coloured the image with Promarkers and distressed and glittered the edges. The snowflakes have been punched from sparkly hologram card. A bit more glitter here and there finishes it off.
The sentiment is from the new Christmas Circular Sentiments being launched by LOTV at the NEC on 4th November and available in their webshop from 12th November. You are going to love these and there are two other everyday sets and calendars coming out as well. They are going to look so good on all your projects. As well as these there are some new girly stamps too and they are sooo gorgeous. The LOTV DT are showing sneak peeks on their blogs from today so make sure you visit them all. I will be back later with another sneak peek as well.

Sketch Saturday (125) - Sketch
If you look very carefully you will find that I have, in fact, followed the sketch after flipping it over first. I started by covering the blue base card with spidery paper. I then stamped a spider's web in the corner to replace one of the squares on the sketch. The other square has been replaced with the witches broomstick which I made with raffia and a cocktail stick, and finally the sentiment made from peel-offs. I coloured the main image with Promarkers and chalk to give it a vintage feel. I again stamped a cobweb and a spider at the top of the image. I used diamond glaze on the spider's eyes and distressed the edges before layering it onto some orange card. Next I stamped a cat onto black card and cut out before attaching with foam pads, equally the two skulls. I am rather pleased with this one so I hope you like it too, thanks for looking.

Golfer's Prayer
Challenges
C.E.S. (8) - Male Birthday Card
Cupcake Crafts (112) - Boys And Their Toys
I was asked recently to make a card for a golf fanatic and this is the result. The image is decoupaged and the 'golfer's prayer' was computer generated. I made the large golf balls by cutting circles and embossing them with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder and using the reverse of the embossing to get the dimples on the balls. Hope you like this fun card, thanks for looking.

Today I have done a zig zag card where I have folded the front back on itself. Although on the fabulous sketch it showed quite broad stripes I have gone with narrow ones as I didn't really want the stripes to overpower the rest of the card. The gorgeous dancing fairy was a freebie digi download from a magazine, isn't she delightful? I have coloured her with Promarkers, gold Krylon pen and added Glamour Dust to her wings. All the flowers have been punched and sponged with gem centres. A few buttons and the card is finished off. Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Here we are with another challenge from Creative Inspirations. This fortnight Jenni is challenging you all to make Halloween/Fall projects. This time we are very kindly being sponsored by Some Odd Girl who are donating 3 Digi Stamps and also our very own Jenni, Card Mad Fairy who is very kindly donating 5 Digi Stamps to the lucky winner. The DT have come up with some fantastic creations so pop on over to the blog and check them out...
I have used 'Witchy Tia' from Some Odd Girl on my card, isn't she sweet. I have coloured her with Promarkers and 3D'd her. I also added Diamond Glaze to her eyes to make them sparkle. Following the great sketch I layered the various pieces of design paper. Having done this I then stamped various sillhouettes on top to create a little scene. I finished by stamping some stars which I added a touch of Stickles to. As I don't normally make Halloween cards I found this a bit of a challenge but I think it came out ok. Anyway I hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Dutch Dare (29) - Tagalicious
This was a spur of the minute card when I saw a friend's die cut Poinsettias. She very kindly cut me a few to play with and this is the result. All I have done is folded the card in half and then folded the front back on itself. I then covered the front and back with papers. I layered the flowers up and attached them to a die cut mat adding glitter glue to the centre of each flower. Having attached these to the card I then found a little tag in with the papers. As I only had a white brad with me I got the Promarkers out and coloured it before attaching the tag to the front of the card. Very good when you want quick and easy. Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

This easel card is made with pearl card and sparkly hologram card. This is one of the digis I chose when I won the Crafty Creations challenge no: 83, thanks everyone. Isn't she gorgeous? She is called 'Hidden' and is available from The Stamping Boutique. I have coloured her with Promarkers and chalk and added Glamour Dust to her wings and fairy dust. Although it doesn't show up very well against the sparkly card I have layered her onto another Nestie cut pice of card which I coloured the edges and covered with Sparkle Fibres. The sentiment was stamped and chalked then layered with Nesties. All the flowers and leaves have been punched and have little blue gems in the centres for a bit of bling. All the panels I have used have had the edges distressed and glittered (first time I have tried this), and I think they turned out rather well. I have finished the whole card off by adding a little ribbon bow to the bottom of the sentiment. Very much a sparkly creation, hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Challenges
Ooh La La (64) - Nothing Floral
A Spoonful Of Sugar (124) - Sparkle & Shine
Allsorts (73) - Song Title (I'm Dreaming Of A White Christmas)
Secret Crafter (104) - Distressing
This is the other card we did at our craft club the other day. I did not design this one but I have altered it slightly, and because of this I do not know whose stamps were used, possibly Stampin' Up??? The background paper has been stamped with two different designs. The distressed part is all the sponging (which I'm not very good at) of the labels and the middle strip. I have edged both labels with glitter glue and also the die cut snowflake. The sentiment is stamped and if you sing the song (which I bet you already are) you will find these words in it. To finish it off I added a few clear gems. Hope you like it, thanks for looking.
I'll be back later with some more cards, meantime I've got to take the dog for his walk, see you later.

Not A Challenge In Sight!!!
At our craft club meeting this week two of us designed a card for everyone to make and this is the one I came up with. The base card has been covered with design paper with another panel on top. We stamped Melinda twice and coloured one of the images with Promarkers and Glamour Dust before cutting out. We then 3D'd this onto the other image after cutting it out with an oval Nestie. It was then layered again using a scalloped oval Nestie. The leaves have been punched out. The flowers were stamped, hand cut and layered before adding stickles. Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Where did the past week go??? It's Thursday already and time for another Lili Of The Valley challenge and this week we want to see your 'Autumn' creations.
Laila and Lisa have kindly donated a £10 voucher to be spent on the Lili of the Valley website as this weeks Prize for one lucky entry to be drawn at random.
To be entered for the prize you must use a Lili of the Valley Stamp or Diecut Image on your creation.
I have chosen to use Autumn colours for my birthday card, and for a change I made a tent card. I started by covering the base card with design paper. I then coloured the image with Promarkers and added stickles to the flower on her hat. I then layered the image with Nesties. The largest nestie I coloured with my Promarkers to get the right colour. The leaves are punched but for the flowers I stamped onto dp, hand cut, embossed and layered adding stickles to the centres. Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Broken Roger
Challenges
Creative Inspiration (44) DT Card - Get Well Soon
Cupcake Crafts (109) - Pink & Brown
A Spoonful Of Sugar (123) - Spots & Stripes
Papertake - Sketch
Passion For Promarkers (71) - Vintage/Shabby Chic
Another Sunday, another challenge from Creative Inspirations. This fortnight we would like to see you make a 'Get Well Soon' card and we are lucky enough to be kindly sponsored by Ellephantastic who is offering the lucky winner 4 Digi's of choice We also have our monthly sponsor, Fantastic Ribbons, who are kindly offering some fantastic christmas pudding buttons to one lucky winner.
The DT were lucky enough to be given this sweet image to play with from Ellephantastic. He is called 'Broken Roger' and certainly looks as if he has been through it, doesn't he? Hopefully there are enough bandages and sticky plasters on my card to mend him ha! ha!
I followed the great sketch by Dawny P and used vintage colours of brown and pink for my image and papers. (The pink is very subtle and has been used on the image and the sticky plasters are pink). The image has been coloured with both Promarkers and chalks to give it a vintage feel, don't know if it worked but it is as vintage as I'm getting... The bandages were made by rolling cotton tape around a cocktail stick and folding a square piece diagonally to make a triangular bandage. The sentiment was stamped onto the sticky plaster with Stazon ink. Hope you like this one enough to leave me a comment. Thanks for looking.
