Sunday Sketch & Stamp (22) - Sketch
C.R.A.F.T. (39) - Ribbons & Sparkle
Cute Card Thursday (101) - Ribbon-Tastic
The Rainbow Lady (92) - Stamping On Unusual Materials (on ribbon)
For this card I have used pearl cardstock & paper throughout. Having cut the base card and punched the border strips and layered them with the yellow ribbon I then added a CD which I sparkled-up using a brilliance inkpad and embossing powder. (When doing this put the CD on a heatproof surface and don't overheat the CD. Also, make sure it has cooled down before touching it or you could burn yourself!). I used a die-cut image of Primrose for the centre adding sparkle to her wings and colouring the flowers with a Sakura Stardust pen. The greeting was stamped and layered with a bit of glitter glue brushed over the top. I then stamped a small butterfly on the ribbon and added more glitter glue to it. The roses have also been dipped in glitter before adding them to the rest of the flowers and punched leaves. To finish off I added a few pearls. I think I went a bit glitter mad on this one! Hope you like it.

This is beautiful -- and I am glad you went "glitter mad" -- it is delightful. Great idea to use the CD -- have you ever tried stamping on one? Thanks for playing at the Rainbow Lady's Challenge.
Thanks for playing along in our Ribbon and Sparkle challenge at C.R.A.F.T. Lovely card! Cheers Claire x
