Penny Black (67) - Lace & Pearls

Creative Inspiration (17) - Sketch

Paperplay (36) - Spot This

Following the sketch I covered the base card with spotty paper and then added the plaid paper. Next I punched a strip of card along both edges to make the 'lace'. Having stamped and coloured the image with pencils I layered it and attached it with foam pads. I finished off by adding pearls to the image (to look like falling snow). I also added some glitter glue and a couple of pearls in the corner.

Stamp With fun (25) - Autumn

Digital Tuesday (25) - Falling Leaves

Cupcake Crafts (58) - Distressing Techniques

I started this card by cutting two strips of cream card and scalloping one edge of each and placing these onto the base card following the sketch. I then cut a rectangle of my new favourite paper and placed this in the middle. I then cut an oval of yellow card using my Nesties and Cuttlebug. Once cut I then stippled inks around the edge to distress it. I coloured the image with MLP pens and cut it out before attaching to the oval with foam pads. Once complete this was then attached to the middle of the card with more foam pads. I stamped the leaves, cut them out and also attached with foam pads. To finish I added three buttons at the top.

Sitting Pretty

Challenges

Sketch Saturday (68) - Sketch

Pollycraft Monday (24) - Black/White/Other

Colour Create (27) - Neon Green/Black (Optional- Leaves/Charm)

The kitty cat on this card was heat embossed onto black card with white detail EP. His eyes were coloured with a marker pen and Diamond Glaze added for a raised, wet look (this really makes the eyes 'pop out'). The green paper is as close to neon as I could get and believe me it is darker in real life. The large flower started off cream colour but I just went over it with a marker pen, added a stamped greeting and button.

Swing Time/LOTV DT Card

Sorry this posting is late, my computer had a hissy fit and wouldn't let me do it. If I hurry I might get this done before it has another.

We have a colour theme for you this week which is Green, Brown and Orange, nice Autumn colours. I have used one of the new stamps from LOTV again. This one is called Swing Time. I have coloured the image with pencils and layered it using nesties. I covered the base card with one of my new 'Bloom & Grow' papers. I then cut a panel of orange card to go across the bottom. Onto this I attached another piece of paper from the same pack (the reverse side of the main piece) which I punched a border and attached a piece of ribbon. I finished it off with some of my new flowers with brad centres.

Card Recipe

Stamp - Lili Of The Valley

Papers - My Mind's Eye

Flowers - Can't remember the name, I threw the packet out, sorry

ABC - C is for Circles

Paperplay (33) - Letter Leftovers

Allsorts (17) - Something For The Boys

Cupcake Crafts (56) - Red/White/Blue

Sketch & Stash (18) - Sketch (New Digi Stamp)

WooHoo! I managed to make a card!

I started this card by attaching the gingham paper to the base card followed by a panel of text paper. Next I scalloped a piece of blue card, placed white brads at either end and attached with foam pads. I have never used this lovely digi stamp before, so he is new to me, and is a freebie from Digital Delights, isn't he cute? I coloured him with pencils and layered him using Nesties before attaching him with foam pads. The name in the bottom right corner is done using 3 different rub-on alphabets. Finally, I added a couple of buttons with ribbon tied through the middle. Apart from the image, everything came from my scrapbox and stash.

Missing In Action...

You might have noticed I have been missing for the past week. Apologies but I have had things going on that needed my full attention. There will be times over the next few weeks where these things will be demanding my attention so please bear with me if I disappear now and then. Hopefully, I will be able to get some crafting done from time to time and enter some of the challenges, boy, have I missed doing them.

Thank you so much to everyone who has taken the time to leave me comments, I really appreciate it and love reading them. Although at the moment I don't have much time to pop over to your blogs and leave comments I am hoping to catch up soon and see what you have all been up to.

I'm hoping to get a couple of cards done this week so until then, take care and see you soon.

Hugs to all

Christine x
