Oh look, another Mother's Day card!  This time I have used this cute little elephant who I coloured with promarkers.  The base card has been layered following the great sketch using some old, long forgotten brads in the corners and flower centre.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Less Is More - Paper Piercing

It's very rare for me to do a 'one layer' card, let alone paper piercing.  But, that's what I have done with this card.  The border has been dry embossed as well as pierced (all by hand).  It took a while but I'm quite pleased with the result.  The image was printed directly onto the card and coloured with promarkers.  The sentiment has been stamped and I have added a gem heart.  Finally a few sequin butterflies finish the card.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Here we go with another Forever Friends Mother's Day card.  This time the little bear is enjoying a relaxing bubble bath.  The images and sentiment have all been attached with foam pads.  The borders have been punched and I have added a star button.  I also added a heart button to the sentiment.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

It is so long since I made cards with these cute teddies but I recently found a load of their stickers in my stash, long forgotten about, along with some papers.  So many of them are suitable for Mother's Day so here's another one.

Following the great sketch I covered my base card with white cardstock and spotty paper.  Next I punched some strips and added some old paper lace and attached with d/s tape.  I stuck my main image sticker onto pink cardstock and layered onto a white panel cut with a nestie.  Once I cut the darker pink panel with a lace nestie I attached the image to it with foam pads to 'pop it up'.  I then attached the whole thing to my base card, again using foam pads, double pop up!  The smaller image has been layered and popped up with foam pads along with the sentiment.  The flowers have been cut from corresponding design paper and I have added gems to the centres.  Another gem added to the sentiment finishes the card.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Today I want to show you a simlpe card for Mother's Day that I made with stickers.  I mounted the main image sticker onto panels cut with nesties.  I have done the same with the sentiment.  The box of choccies is a sticker simply stuck onto card and cut out.  Following the great sketch I layered the base card with paper covered panels and added some spotty ribbon.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Following the great sketch I covered my base card with white card followed by an embossed panel, two paper covered panels and some gorgeous ribbon.  One I did this I then added my image which has been coloured with promarkers and paper pieced.  I also added glitter to the butterflies.  The stamped sentiment has been cut out using nesties and a gem heart added.  I added some punched lattice hearts at the top.  The flowers have been punched from handmade paper with gem centres.  The butterflies have also been punched and have gem bodies.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

There is a new challenge today at Whoopsi Daisy.  The theme is 'Make It Girly'.  Nice and easy as we all like to make girly cards don't we?

This week I decided to make a new baby card using this darling image.  Just look at those gorgeous big eyes.  I coloured her with promarkers and layered her using nesties.  I then added pearls and roses.  The border has been die-cut and I have added some floral ribbon.  A few more pearls dotted about finishes the card.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Here is a wedding card that I made a while back but didn't show.  If you look very carefully you will see that there are two embossed panels on the base card.  I added a satin ribbon and bow and lace at the bottom.  The stamped sentiment has been die-cut with a lace oval die.  The flowers, leaves, hearts and butterfly have all been punched.  After adding pearls to the butterfly and gems to the flowers I added glitter glue to some of the leaves and the hearts.  A couple of pearl hearts finish the card.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Today I have a card to show you made with a stamp I won recently, isn't she absolutely gorgeous?  I have coloured her with promarkers in some of my favourite pastel colours.  I have cut her out and layered her using nesties label dies.  The swirl has been die-cut and inked with distress inks.  The flowers and butterflies have been punched from pearl cardstock and I have added pearls to the flower centres and butterfly bodies.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Apologies for the late posting of my DT card but life got in the way yesterday and I forgot all about it.

Anyway, better late than never,  it's time for a new challenge at Lili's Little Fairies and this week we want to see 'Pearls' on your creations.  A nice easy challenge.

Today I have made a card that could easily be used as a valentine or a birthday card.  I coloured my image with promarkers and edged it with a red pen so that it would show up better against the white mat.  I also added some red pearls to the corners.  The heart behind the image has been die-cut with nesties and the borders embossed and punched.  A bir satin ribbon and bow finishes it off.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Here is a card we made at craft club recently.  We made the basic card which is a gatefold with the middle interlocking.  We used label dies to cut the frame and sentiment panel.  The backing card has been embossed with hearts and the sentiment panel stamped.  I added the flowers and pearls afterwards.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Tomorrow we will be celebrating the Chinese New Year (Year of the Snake), so naturally I have made a card for my son and daughter in law.  I followed the great sketch, having turned it first, and layered my base card with gold cardstock and some Han-Ji papers.  I found the image on the computer and added this after layering it.  Next I added some gold and red ribbon which I added a metal filigree topped with a gem.  I then attached some gold leaves and cherry blossom.  To finish off I added Xmas Red Stickles to the background paper and the snake's hat.  Although my insert is rather plain I have stamped a sentiment and some lanterns which I coloured with promarkers.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

I have made a card today that can be used for any occassion, including a valentine.  Isn't this little girl just the cutest with her sparkly hearts?  I have coloured her with promarkers and Star Dust stickles.  The border has been punched with stripey ribbon added.  All the hearts have been die-cut and I embossed the pink one and stamped the white one.  A flower under the sentiment and a few heart gems finishes the card off.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.
