Today's challenge at Lili's Little Fairiesis a nice easy one for you. The theme is 'Anything Goes' and we can't wait to see all your beautiful creations. I have used the stamp 'In The Garden' for my card and I have coloured it with promarkers. At the bottom I have punched a border and added paper and satin ribbon. I then die-cut a fancy tag and stamped a simple sentiment onto it adding a couple of gems before placing it onto the border. The flowers and leaves are all punched and I have added more gems to the centres of the flowers. Hope you like it, thanks for looking.
Before I get onto my card I would like to apologise fornot posting my card until now. I am having BIG problems with my internet connections and can only stay connected for a couple of minutes at a time, very frustrating as you can imagine. Please bear with me if I don't manage to get around to your blogs and leave you comments.
This week at Whoopsi Daisy we have a great sketch for you to follow. For my card this week I have used one of the great boy images from the JS CD 'Daisy & Friends' by Linnie which you can get here. I have coloured him with promarkers and distressed with chalks. The digi papers I have used are from my scrapbox. I have so many scraps I am trying hard to use them rather than cut into new all the time. The border has been punched and layered with a ribbbon to finish it. I have used copper eyelets in the corners and finished it with various buttons.
I don't think anything says 'love' more than the arrival of a new baby. I have followed the above sketch and made an easel card to welcome the new baby boy. I have coloured the cute image with promarkers and paper pieced his outfit. I have punched the borders with hearts and added some satin ribbon. The two hearts have also been punched. A couple of flowers and a few pearls finish the card nicely. Hope you like it, thanks for looking.
It's Thursday again which means it's time for another challenge over at Lili's Little Fairies. This week we would like to see you use 'Spring Colours' on your creations.
I have used one of my favourite LOTV stamps for today's card, 'Daisy Chain'. I have coloured it with promarkers and chalk as usual. Following last week's Divas By Design sketch (I missed the actual challenge, duh!), I used some of my favourite digi papers from Nitwit Collections to cover my card. Once I had done this I added the image and circular sentiment that I layered using nesties. I layered some silk and paper daisies and added gems to the centres before placing over the corner of the image. I then punched some butterflies, stippled them with ink and added these to the corners and flowers. Hope you like it, thanks for looking.
Another Christmas card today, this time with a vintage feel. I have used the lovely sketch provided but turned it and added a corner. I have coloured the image with promarkers and distressed it with ink and chalk. I have also distressed the check paper in a similar fashion before adding some organza ribbon and slider to it. To finish the card I added some paper flowers with card candi centres and some punched gold leaves. Hope you like it, thanks for looking.
