Here is a little birthday card I was asked to make this week.  Following the great sketch I attached two papers to my base card.  Next I added a punched border which I topped with satin ribbon.  I coloured my image with promarkers and added diamond glaze to all the glasses.  I die-cut the numbers and added glitter glue.  Finally a few gems and the sentiment finishes the card.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Sorry I am late in posting my card this week.  I had to take the dog to the vets this week as not only has he suddenly gone blind with cataracts but it turns out that he has diabetes as well which is the cause of the cataracts.  Not suprising really as he is nearly 14 years old.  Not only is he feeling rather lost and confused with the blindness but the poor thing now has to be injected with insulin twice a day.  Guess who has to do that???  He had his first doses yesterday and is already feeling a lot better and perkier.  Once we have stabilised the diabetes we can sort out his eyes.  Anyone got a spare £3,000?  I couldn't believe how much the operation is.  I suppose we could always get him a guide dog, saw one on the TV once.  Anyway, you came to see my card not my rambling....

It's another Thursday which means a new challenge at Lili's Little Fairies.  This week we want your creations to be 'Bright And Beautiful'.  A nice easy challenge for you again this week.

I have made an easel card featuring 'Mr Snowman' who I have coloured with promarkers and added lots and lots of glitter.  All the snowflakes have been die-cut and have gems added to them.  On the base I have added a punched border and topped it with sparkly ribbon, snowflakes and a heat embossed sentiment.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Following the great sketch I have layered up today's card with some of my favourite papers which I've not used for quite a while.  I coloured the gorgeous image with promarkers and chalk.  I have also added chalk to the sentiment.  Once I had layered and attached the image I added a few heart gems to the frame.  I then die-cut some leaves and added punched paper flowers topped with roses.  The butterfly has been punched and I added more gems to that and the sentiment.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Time for a new challenge at Whoopsi Daisy and this week we want to see your 'Christmas Cards'.  Nice and easy.

When I coloured this image with promarkers and glitter I decided to go with yellow and blue.  Do you think it works for a Christmas card?  Having coloured this sweet little angel I decided to decoupage her even though you can't really see it in the picture.  I have added the sentiment to a 'fanciful flourish' and added a small gem.  The stars have been die-cut and embossed before adding a gem to the centres.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

I thought I would join in the fun over at That Craft Place where they are asking how we store our buttons.  Well, I must admit I do have rather a large collection so I keep them in these handy drawer units that I got from Poundland a few years ago.

As you can see I keep different colours in different drawers as this makes it quicker and easier to find the right one.

Seeing these pictures makes me think I should join 'Buttons Anonymous', what do you think?

Whilst having a rummage around the craft room I came across this image that somebody had kindly given me, sorry can't remember who as it was so long ago.  Anyway, I thought it a shame to ignore it any longer so I got on and coloured it with my promarkers and then cut it out.  Following the great sketch I layered my card with some gorgeous new papers and attached the image with foam pads after slipping a stamped sentiment underneath.  A few card candis which I also coloured with a promarker finishes this simple card off.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Here is a card I did a while ago and didn't post about.  For this one I cut diagonally across the front of the card before adding paper to the front and embossing the inside.  The cute fairy has been coloured with promarkers and glitter.  A sentiment and flower finishes the card.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Here is a nice bright card to brighten your day.  I have coloured the image with promarkers and added some faux stitching around the edge.  I have also added diamond glaze to the lights on the card.  I then stamped and heat embossed the little saying on it.  The corners have been die-cut and embossed.  On the lower part of the card I attached an orange border to go right across the card and attached my sentiment with foam pads after adding three little brads.  Finally I added a couple of threaded buttons.  Hope you like it, thanks for looking.
